One core, mapped to the mission
The same launch node configures to each mission a customer runs — a host already in service becomes a strike or counter-drone node by configuration, not a new programme, firing the operator's own effector. Where it fits, mission by mission.
Counter-UAS point & site defence
Fixed sites need radar- or sensor-cued hard-kill against small UAS (Groups 1–3 / Class I–II), layered with electronic warfare. Umbra emplaces as a fixed-mast or standalone node, cued from the operator's air-defence C2, and flies an interceptor onto the track — a hard-kill layer added without ripping out the sensors and C2 already in place.
Counter-UAS on the move
A manoeuvring force needs counter-drone cover that follows it, not just static sites. Mounted on a pickup, UGV or truck, Umbra puts a mobile shooter where there is no coverage today, cued from organic or networked sensors — magazine depth against saturation, on the move, at a cost-per-engagement below what it defeats.
Ground deep strike & precision fires
Survivable precision fires need a canisterised launcher that disperses across the force rather than concentrating in a few exquisite platforms. Umbra carries a dense magazine of loitering effectors on a truck or UGV already in service — dispersed, salvo-capable reconnaissance-strike, re-bought as the attritable net is consumed.
Mounted tactical strike
A squad or unit needs organic loitering-munition mass on its own vehicle. Umbra configures as a multi-cell launcher on a 4×4, UGV or light vehicle, firing the operator's own effectors in salvo — one-way effectors put in the hands of the unit that needs them, launched under jamming and without GNSS.
Naval close-in & self-defence
Warships and uncrewed surface vessels need reconfigurable launch cells for point defence and strike. Umbra mounts as a cell node on a ship or USV, netted into the combat system for stand-off engagement with no crew at risk — the same core that rides every other host.
Maritime & expeditionary strike
Small craft and USVs need a launch box that adds strike without a structural rebuild. Umbra configures as a deck node on an uncrewed surface vessel — the pattern proven by boat-launched effectors — for dispersed, stand-off maritime strike from a host already in the water.
Subsea & seabed launch
The hardest seam few can reach: a pressure-tolerant node rides out weather submerged, then surfaces to launch. Umbra's submersible configuration shares the same smart core as every other host — the highest-value variant, where sealing, corrosion and fault-tolerance decide reliability, and the strongest fit for the Madeira manufacturing base.
